Love Could Save Us

Love Could Save Us is an experimental short film by Grace Capewell which explores the tension between human intimacy and environmental catastrophe. Set against the backdrop of a world in flames, two individuals engage in a fleeting, intimate moment, their kiss symbolising a wilful ignorance to the destruction unfolding around them. As the earth burns, displacing communities and ravaging the planet, the couple's refusal to confront the climate crisis becomes an unsettling metaphor for collective apathy in the face of a global emergency. Through a haunting juxtaposition of personal intimacy and environmental collapse, the film challenges the viewer to reflect on the consequences of ignoring the existential threat of global warming.

I Am Your Daughter

I Am Your Daughter is a haunting music video directed by Grace Capewell for Florence Rose, exploring the volatile intersection of forbidden love and psychological mania. The video plunges viewers into a chaotic emotional landscape, where desire collides with internal turmoil. We see a woman caught in a relationship that is both intoxicating and destructive, spiralling into a frenzy as her emotional boundaries blur and unravel. Through a striking combination of religious symbolism, dance and emotional depth, I Am Your Daughter delves into the complexities of love that defies reason.
